Cheryl Batts Dufrane

A graduate of Austin Peay State University, Cheryl Batts Dufrane is a veteran benefits strategist with a 25-year stretch in the industry. Licensed in Life and Health (TN, KY, IN) and equipped with a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation, Cheryl joined the Pancoast team in 2020, bringing to her Benefits Consultant role a fervor for finding the best benefits solution to match each of her client’s individual needs.

With professionalism as a distinct family trait, her mentor (aka dad) always said, “If you are on time, you are late. So, always be early.” — a message for Cheryl that ignited a respect for others and their time early on. She continues to live by this concept in her daily business, valuing that her client’s business and how she handles hers go hand-in-hand. Their success is her success.

Possessing a love for interacting with people and making a difference both in and out of the office, Cheryl is currently in the process of developing the non-profit, 100 Women of Clarksville Who Care, to share her words of leadership and encouragement with her community. And when she’s not relaxing on the weekends with a good book, she’s writing them! The fun-loving mother, inspired by her wonderful son, enjoys writing children’s stories with the hopes of being published one day. Fingers crossed!
