A native Nashvillian, Ward Chaffin serves as the CFO at Pancoast Benefits. He is an active CPA in the State of Tennessee and a member of the AICPA. Prior to Pancoast, Ward’s prior experience includes being CFO of an EV charging company, Managing Principal in charge of the outsourced CFO Services division of a regional CPA firm, Director of Finance for an educational technology company, and Corporate Controller for a startup physician practice management company. Ward graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He also received a Master of Business Administration with honors from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Away from the office, Ward serves on the Board as Treasurer for Springboard Landings, a nonprofit focused on providing adults who need a limited amount of support an option for independent living. He’s an avid fan of the Commodores, Fighting Irish, Titans, and Predators. He and his wife Lynn have two sons.
